Local groups in the Hawk and Owl Trust are an opportunity for members to get together to help fulfil the conservation objectives of the charity, to learn more about birds of prey and related subjects, and to to meet with like-minded enthusiasts. Groups develop their own programmes, from regular evening talks to outings to observe wildlife, with active volunteer conservation work, from habitat improvement to nestbox installation and monitoring by licensed ornithologists.
