Access to the reserve

Visitor Centre accessSculthorpe Moor has been created for the maximum enjoyment of disabled guests.

Our new visitor centre has dedicated parking spaces for blue badge holders.

The building is on a single level easily entered by ramp, with wide doors on the entrances and the disabled toilet facilities.

For the blind or partially-sighted, there is a Braille guide to the reserve. Tactile display materials, audio bird song samples and an oral history of the moor recorded by local people can be found in the interpretation area.

For the hearing-impaired we have induction loop facilities.

The reserve itself is accessible by a mile of boardwalk with seating provided. Both hides have ramps for easy entry and windows designed with the wheelchair user in mind.
