Volunteer education assistants

Volunteer education assistants

should be:

• happy to be contacted when a school or group books a visit to the reserve
• comfortable talking to groups of children and/or adults
• prepared to help staff with guided walks and other activities. After a period of training some volunteers may feel able to lead a group on their own

Pond dipping

The assistants would be based in the education centre, in the hides and along the boardwalks. Some groups may also visit areas away from the boardwalks.
